Nodirbek Abdusattorov, born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, in 2004, quickly rose to prominence in the chess world. He earned the Grandmaster title at just 13, making him one of the youngest to achieve this feat. His early career was marked by impressive performances, including victories against top players at a very young age. By 2021, Abdusattorov made history by winning the World Rapid Chess Championship, defeating players like Magnus Carlsen and Ian Nepomniachtchi to become the youngest world champion in any chess format.
In 2022, Abdusattorov led Uzbekistan’s team to victory at the Chess Olympiad, where his leadership on Board 1 earned him individual accolades as well. His remarkable performance helped Uzbekistan secure a historic gold medal, and Abdusattorov continued to showcase his rapid rise with consistent results in international tournaments.
